I have a single peony growing in my yard, it sits in a sunny sheltered spot so always blooms earlier in the spring than other peonies. I have taken hundreds of photographs of this peony plant - and I suspect I will take hundreds more, there is something so gloriously beautiful to me about the filtered light that plays across the white petals.
