Description
A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in--what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars. ~ Victor Hugo
Photograph of the corner of a garden in Taos, New Mexico.
Taos is a town in the north-central region of New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, incorporated in 1934. The town is close to Taos Pueblo, the Native American village and tribe from which it takes its name. The English name Taos derives from the native Taos language meaning place of red willows.
