Description
This is a black and white version of the "New Skyline Bridge" photo in my portfolio. This shows details of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, one of three Santiago Calatrava-designed bridges being built over the Trinity River in Dallas, Texas as part of the Trinity River Project. This is a favorite view of mine, to see the beautiful structure soaring into the clouds. The bridge itself is not situated in a very scenic place so this view makes it seem more ethereal and less part of the nitty gritty of daily life. The bridge was completed and open to traffic in early 2012 and instantly became a landmark in the cityscape of Dallas.
