Description
During the "Provence In Beaumont" Lavender Paint Out at the beginning of July, the moon was full, so we had decided to include a nocturne. The CA Art Club was doing a moonrise paint out that same night at Cabrillo Beach, so we did one of the moon lit lavender fields. I've done twilight and sundown moonrisings, but not in darkness. New experience working by LED light! This was the first of two nocturne paintings that night. The rising moon's light is just beginning to equal the night lights of Beaumont. We next relocated to an area facing east for another go at it. Highland Springs Resort, Cherry Valley, CA July 2015
