Outside Looking In, photograph of a window in an abandoned farmhouse. Blinds still up but hanging askew, glass gone, the line between inside and outside is blurred.

Wikipedia: A window is a transparent or translucent opening in a wall or door that allows the passage of light and, if not closed or sealed, air and sound.Windows are usually glazed or covered in some other transparent or translucent material like float glass. Windows are held in place by frames. Many glazed windows may be opened, to allow ventilation, or closed, to exclude inclement weather.

One of the original founders of the Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria, Virginia, she has been actively involved in the arts for over twenty years. She recently retired, after 41 years of service, as the Art Director, House Creative Services, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, U.S. House of Representatives. In her photographs, Terry seeks to capture a moment, to give the viewer a glimpse of place and time that arrests the movement of life and allows one to savor what is there to be seen.
