Description
Philadelphia Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennsylvania, USA, was abandoned in the 1970s and then reopened in the 1990s, it's preserved in a state of urban decay. The prison is now an historic site, with tours operating all through the year.
Pictured is the head gate, with it's iconic red cross, of Cellblock 3 also known as the Hospital Block.
